Having won three National Championships in the last two years the 8U Colts and 12U Browns are looking to compete for the title again this year. The Colts have a two year run of the title and are looking to defend it for the 3rd year. While the Browns came up a bit short this past year they are hungry to regain the title.
These are a few of the players who will play pivotal roles for these teams this fall. Do not be surprised if you see their names in a few years for some of our local high schools.
Jordan “Batman” Kyle – QB – 2 year National Championship Team Member 8U Colts. Leader and Captain of the team, all business when on the field. Pensacola Christian.
Ladarian “Squirrel” Clardy – RB – 2 year National Championship Team Member 8U Colts. Next Generation 8U Player of the Year. Ready to step in and make the big play. Pine Meadow Elementary
Joshua Watson – OL/DL – 2nd year on 10U Colts, was part of the 8U Colts first National Championship Team. Has started last 3 years. Pleasant Grove Elementary.
Keon Johnson – RB – Ferry Pass Junior High
Colby Johnson –RB – Ransom Junior High
These 2 are a one-two punch for the Browns. Though not related, they are like twins in the backfield and either can break a game open for their team.
Mel Merriel – FB/Lineman- An all-around player. Committed to doing what is ever best for the team to win.
