Brook County’s Maurice Freeman has exclusively coached high school football in the state of Georgia for 29 years.
He spent six years as head coach of the Brunswick Pirates and four years as head coach at Southwest Macon. He was also an assistant for four years at Northeast Macon. But, at this point in his career, Freeman is right where he wants to be in the tiny city of Quitman. After all, he was born and raised in Brooks County.
