Florida High School Girls Basketball Rankings: Preseason

Here is our debut Florida high school girls basketball rankings in 7A-4A for the 2021-22 season. These Top 25 will be updated every other week throughout the season and will rotate weeks with our boys basketball rankings. 

The top ranking entering the season goes to defending Class 5A state champion American Heritage, while defending 7A champion Plant and 4A champion Lake Highland Prep also begin the season in the Top 5. Defending 6A champion St. Thomas Aquinas also begins the season just outside the Top 5 at No. 6.

Here is our Florida high school girls basketball rankings for 3A-1A entering the 2021-22 Florida high school basketball season. These will be updated every other week and will alternate with our boys basketball rankings.

The No. 1 ranking goes to defending Class 3A state champion Miami Country Day, while defending 1A state champion Ponce De Leon and 2A state champion Miami Christian also enter the season in the Top 3. Class 3A’s Cardinal Mooney and Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate round out the Top 5.
