Florida High School Football Rankings

The 8A-5A Top 25 Florida high school football rankings saw only one change after the first round of playoffs, but is setting up for what will be a can’t-miss second round.

No. 16 Lake Gibson picked up the most notable win of the week as the Braves defeated previous No. 25 Lakeland 24-20, causing the Dreadnaughts to fall out of the Top 25.

Class 8A’s Western enters at No. 25 this week as the 9-2 Wildcats are coming off a 43-7 first-round win last Friday night over Stoneman Douglas to set up what is a must-see second-round matchup against Miami Columbus.

The 4A-1A Top 25 Florida high school football rankings only saw change in the lower part of the rankings after the first round of the playoffs, and now attention turns to what is a can’t-miss second round this week.

Class 3A’s Benjamin enters the Top 25 this week, along with a few other teams from No. 20-24 each moving up a spot due to previously ranked LaSalle suffering a first-round loss.

Looking ahead to this week, there are multiple must-see second-round matchups, including Port St. Joe versus Madison County, Gulliver Prep versus Booker T. Washington, and Chaminade-Madonna versus Edison.
