FHSAA Class 7A Playoff Predictions: Elite 8
We make our predictions for which teams could make the FHSAA Class 7A Elite 8 in 2021.
A possible Lake Gibson-Viera matchup in the Region 2 final has the potential to be entertaining. Both teams return their starting quarterbacks from a year ago.
Senior Logan Hackett is back for Lake Gibson after throwing for over 2,000 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2020.
Senior gunslinger CJ Simms returns for Viera in 2021. Simms also threw for over 2,000 yards last season and had 19 touchdown passes.
If these two teams meet in the postseason, it could be quite the quarterback showing. We’ll see how it shapes out.
