Here are our top 10 performers from Week 7 of the 2026 Georgia high school baseball season.
Deerfield-Windsor left-handed pitcher Collins Clark, a junior, combined to throw 10 scoreless innings in 3-1 and 3-0 wins over Terrell Academy and Brookwood School, respectively, striking out a total of 20 batters in the two games. Clark also went 5-for-7 with three walks and two RBIs at the plate.
In 14 innings pitched this season, Clark is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 29 strikeouts, helping the Knights to an 8-1 overall record.
Seminole County pitcher Brennen McGowen, a junior, went 8-for-10 at the plate with three doubles and a home run while drawing four walks in a doubleheader against Pataula Charter Academy. McGowan also struck out nine batters against Pataula Charter in the doubleheader.
Clinch County leadoff hitter and shortstop Jake King, a sophomore, went 8-for-9 while driving in three runs in games against Irwin County and Lanier County.
West Forsyth pitcher Drew Cribb, a sophomore, came up big against Denmark at the plate and on the mound. Cribb pitched 3.2 innings, allowing just two runs and striking out four batters. He also hit a grand slam and drove in five runs in the Wolverines’ win over the Danes.
Berrien catcher Conor Nix, a junior, went 3-for-5 at the plate against Cook with three walks, no strikeouts, one double, one RBI, and two runs scored for a 1.300 OPS in the two-game series.
Houston County pitcher and infielder Tyson Ganas, a junior, had quite a series against Coffee last week. In Game 1, Ganas pitched a complete game, allowing just one run while striking out nine in the Bears’ win. In Game 2, he went 1-for-1 at the plate with a walk, an RBI, and a stolen base. In Game 3, Ganas drew a walk and drove in four runs with a grand slam.
Fitzgerald pitcher and infielder Gabe Grubbs, a junior, led the Purple Hurricanes to two wins in a three-game series against Thomasville. Grubbs went 5-for-8 at the plate with a home run, a double, and five RBIs in the two victories. He also pitched six innings in Game 3, allowing just two hits while striking out seven batters.
Worth County senior Avery Kilcrease led the Rams at the plate and on the mound in a three-game series sweep over Brantley County last week. In Game 1, Kilcrease pitched seven innings, allowing no runs, no walks, and two hits while striking out 10 batters. At the plate, Kilcrease batted .500, going 6-for-12 over the three-game series with two home runs in Game 2 and a 3-for-4 performance in Game 3.
Savannah Jaguars pitcher Troy DeVoe threw a complete game no-hitter against Vidalia Heritage Academy, which finished last season as the GIAA Class 1A state runner-up. DeVoe issued three walks and struck out 14 batters in the 7-0 win.
Colquitt County junior Bowen DeRosso helped lead the Packers to an 8-0 and 2-0 doubleheader sweep over Valdosta. DeRosso went 3-for-9 at the plate with two singles and a home run over the two games. On the mound, he pitched seven innings, allowing just one earned run on five hits while striking out 10 batters.
