Clinch County Head Football Coach Jim Dickerson Retires, But Leaves Door Open

Jim Dickerson is retired. That’s the official word. The longtime football coach of the Clinch County Panthers announced his retirement last year after completing a successful career that included 15 years as an assistant coach and 15 years as head coach at the school. He led the Panthers to five state championships, joining eight other highly successful Georgia coaches who accomplished the same feat. Will Dickerson return to the sidelines at some point to coach again? Only time will tell.
