We’re fully into the home stretch of the 2023 Florida high school football regular season. Here are some of the top performances from the Week 9 slate.
QB Jayden Bradford (IMG Academy)
Bradford completed 7-of-11 passes for 179 yards and 4 touchdowns, while also rushing for 12 yards on 4 attempts, in the top-ranked Ascenders’ 53-7 blowout win over Gray Collegiate Academy (SC).
QB Jackson LaTour (Oviedo)
LaTour completed 17-of-24 passes for 290 yards and 5 touchdowns in Oviedo’s 49-21 win over Lyman. The senior also rushed for 10 yards on 2 attempts.
RB Girard Pringle (Armwood)
Pringle rushed for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries, and he made 2 tackles defensively, in Armwood’s 43-9 Florida high school 2023 Week 9 win over Plant City.
RB James Bronaugh (Foundation Academy)
Bronaugh rushed for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns on eight attempts, while also catching a pass for 81 yards and a score, in Foundation Academy’s 59-22 win over Windermere Prep. The senior also made 5 tackles and 1 TFL in the contest.
QB AJ Truiolo (Spanish River)
Truiolo completed 11-of-22 passes for 267 yards and 4 touchdowns in Spanish River’s 52-34 loss to Santaluces. The senior also rushed for 36 yards on 4 tries.
WR Blake Wallace (Spanish River)
Wallace had 5 receptions for 123 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Sharks’ 52-34 loss to Santaluces.
RB Jocarian Garrett (Cottondale)
Garrett rushed for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns on 13 attempts in Cottondale’s 44-6 win over Pataula Charter Academy. The junior also had 2 tackles and an INT.
LB Dylan Moore (Cypress Lake)
Moore compiled 16 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack, and 1 INT in Cypress Lake’s 28-8 loss to South Fort Myers.
WR Bryson Rouillier (Gulf Breeze)
Rouillier had 10 receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown in Gulf Breeze’s 27-20 Florida high school 2023 Week 9 victory over Tate.
