Bob Jones Baseball Lead by SEC Commits
Bob Jones baseball had a slow start this season, but have since picked it up thanks to two SEC commits.
Slate Alford, a Mississippi State signee, and Max Soliz Jr., an Arkansas commit, have lifted their team to wins in eight of their last nine games.
Alford has a batting average of .519 with 32 RBIs, while Soliz Jr. is batting .408 with 35 RBIs.
The Patriots are 0-6 this season against teams ranked in the first Alabama Sports Writers Association poll, and will look to add a win to that record in their next game against MaxPreps’ No. 1 IMG Academy.
