Best of Florida High School Week 7 Includes Big Offensive Outings

October brought an action-packed Week 7 to Florida high school football. Here are some of the best performances from around the Sunshine State.

QB Jeff Jones (St. Petersburg)

The junior quarterback leads off our list of best Florida high school Week 7 performances after doing a bit of everything in St. Petersburg’s 48-14 win over Seminole. Jones completed 10-of-12 passes for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns, and he also enjoyed a massive game on the ground, rushing for 128 yards and 4 touchdowns on 10 attempts.

RB Corey Simms (Mitchell)

Simms rushed for 295 yards and 4 touchdowns on 13 carries in Mitchell’s 41-0 shutout win over The Villages Charter.

QB Devin Gonzalez (Cypress Bay)

Gonzalez completed 26-of-35 passes for 289 yards and 5 touchdowns in Cypress Bay’s 43-3 win over Taravella.

QB Cedrick Bailey (Chaminade-Madonna)

Bailey completed 18-of-23 passes for 201 yards and 3 TDs, and he also rushed for 50 yards and a score on 2 attempts, in Chaminade-Madonna’s 55-20 win over Dillard.

QB Sabby Meassick (Tohopekaliga)

Meassick completed 29-of-47 passes for 312 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Tigers’ 35-28 loss to Orlando Christian Prep. The sophomore also rushed for 16 yards on 2 carries.

RB Jaelin Sneed (East Bay)

Sneed rushed for 151 yards and 3 touchdowns on 21 attempts in East Bay’s 46-6 win over Chamberlain.

WR Julian Nasco (Tohopekaliga)

Nasco had 9 receptions for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns in Tohopekaliga’s 35-28 loss to Orlando Christian Prep.

QB Tramell Jones (Mandarin)

Jones completed 9-of-12 passes for 238 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Mustangs’ 49-6 win over Westside.

RB Jacques Dixson (NSU University)

Dixson rushed for 109 yards and 3 touchdowns on 23 attempts, and he caught a pass for 10 yards, in the Sharks’ 43-22 win over North Broward Prep.

WR Jaime Ffrench (Mandarin)

The five-star Alabama commit had 2 receptions for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns in Mandarin’s 49-6 win over Westside.

SS Joe Links (Hudson)

Links was among the best Florida high school Week 7 performers with a noteworthy defensive outing in Hudson’s 54-6 win over Sunlake. He intercepted 3 passes, and also was credited with a tackle and 2 PDs.
