Last year, the Camden County Wildcats fought their way to the top of the mountain as they claimed the 2014-15 GHSA Class AAAAA Team Dual Wrestling State Championship.
This year, they would not be denied; every team that won a title last season repeated as champs this year, and Camden County was among the list of winners.
After clinching an unprecedented 18th consecutive area championship, the Wildcats went on to obliterate every team in their way, finishing each round by an average of nearly 58 points per contest.
For the second consecutive year, the Wildcats reached the finals and faced Woodland High School (Cartersville, Ga.). And, for the second consecutive year, Camden County proved to be a dominant force. Posting a 40-19 win in the championship round a season ago, the defending champions would up the ante in their most recent victory, crushing their title round opponents by a score of 59-8.
In the Game Sports Network would like to congratulate the Camden County Wildcats on their 18th straight area title, as well as their second consecutive GHSA Class AAAAA Team Dual Wrestling State Championship!
