AZ Compass Prep Ranked as MaxPreps Independent Preseason No. 1 Nationally
With the 2021-22 high school basketball season set to begin, MaxPreps has unveiled its preseason rankings for independent programs with AZ Compass Prep (AZ) taking the top spot.
After finishing the 2020-21 campaign with a 28-2 record, as well as a No. 2 ranking nationally, the Dragons return a talented roster. Headlining this roster for AZ Compass Prep are four-star seniors Dylan Andrews, Sadraque Nganga, and Colin Smith, as well as five-star juniors Mookie Cook and Kylan Boswell.
Rounding out the Top 5 behind AZ Compass Prep are defending national champions Montverde Academy (FL) at No. 2, as well as IMG Academy (FL), Oak Hill Academy (VA), and Sunrise Christian Academy (KS).
