This week’s update sees two new teams enter the rankings at the No. 24 and No. 25 spots, respectively, in 6A’s Pike Road and 3A’s Piedmont. Pike Road sits at 3-1 overall this season riding a two-game winning streak, while Piedmont is undefeated at 3-0 featuring a resume that is headlined by a 24-8 win over Cherokee County.
Other notables this week include drops from both Hoover and Mountain Brook off losses, the latter of which fell nine spots to No. 21 after a 10-3 upset loss at Pell City.
