Top 25 Florida High School Softball Teams: Classes 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A, 7A

The 2024 Florida high school softball season has now officially come to an end, meaning that our consensus Top 25 rankings receives its final update of the year. 

Class 6A state champion Pace finishes the season sitting atop our rankings at No. 1. Every other softball state champion also ends the year ranked. Those teams are Western (No. 8) in Class 7A, Parrish Community (No. 10) in Class 5A, Eustis (No. 6) in Class 4A, Montverde Academy (No. 5) in Class 3A, Evangelical Christian (No. 9) in Class 2A, and Trenton (No. 23) in Class 1A.

The latest update of our Florida high school softball consensus Top 25 rankings sees only one team enter the mix in Class 7A’s Windermere, who sits at No. 25. 

Two teams make moves within the Top 5, as both Melbourne and Bartow each rise one place.

The final update of our 2024 Florida high school softball rankings prior to the playoffs officially beginning sees four new teams enter the Top 25 in Palm Beach Gardens, Wakulla, Cornerstone Charter, and Spruce Creek. 

Palm Beach Gardens, the highest ranked of those four at No. 20, is currently riding a seven-game winning streak that is headlined by a Top 25 victory over No. 11 Park Vista.

The latest update of our Florida high school softball consensus Top 25 rankings features a new No. 1 team for the first time this season, as Class 6A’s Pace takes over for previously top-ranked Bartow. 

Three new teams enter the Top 25 in Class 3A’s Berkeley Prep and North Bay Haven at No. 22 and No. 25, respectively, as well as Class 6A’s Viera at No. 23.

Holding the No. 1 spot is Class 6A’s Bartow, who is currently unbeaten for the season at 16-0 and has outscored opponents a combined 114-8.
