Each week ITG Next Georgia selects the top performances from the many games played throughout the state. These selections include one very special performance by a player we honor as our Tip Top Performer. From Week 8 of the Georgia high school season, we have two impressive performances that were deserving of our Tip Top honor.
Tip Top Performers
- Mary Persons RB Duke Watson led his team with 6 touchdowns and 208 yards on 20 carries – a truly impressive outing in Georgia high school Week 8.
- Carrollton QB Julian JuJu Lewis, in our ITG Next Game of the Week, showed why he is hands-down the nation’s top sophomore quarterback. The USC commit had an outstanding performance against the Indians, completing 19-of-29 passes for 455 yards and 6 TDs.
