Kromah Leads Georgia High School Football Week 7 Standouts

Following are our Georgia high school football Week 7 top performers – those standouts who made significant contributions to their teams on offense, defense and/or special teams.

Tip Top Performer: Lee County RB Ousmane Kromah

In one of the best and most anticipated games of the season, Lee County defeated Houston County 44-35 at Freedom Field on Friday night. Great players rise up in big games, and Lee County junior running back Ousmane Kromah did just that, earning our Tip Top Performer designation among Georgia high school football Week 7 standouts. Kromah had not practiced all week due to a nagging leg injury, so it was unclear how effective he could be, if he played at all. That question got answered right away as Kromah ran for a 70-yard TD on Lee County’s first play from scrimmage, and he never looked back. Kromah finished with 22 carries for 327 yards and 4 TDs.
