Kareem Reid, Griffin Football Coach, Headed to UCF
Kareem Reid, who has served as the head football coach at Griffin High School for the past two seasons, has left the Bears program to join the staff at the University of Central Florida. Reid has been named as the Assistant Director of Recruiting for the Knights football program.
Reid told ITG Next Georgia that it’s an opportunity and challenge he’s looking forward to.
“To work with a great coach like Guz Malzahn is such a fantastic opportunity,” Reid said. “I’ll be returning to my alma mater, as well. I’m really looking forward to it.”
Reid played for the Knights from 2004-2006 as a defensive end.
