Your Move: National Signing Day Looming
The ball is in your court, prospects.
With the signing period opening for athletes on November 11, 2020, college recruits have had two months to ink their letter of intent for university athletics.
But some football players are taking their time to weigh their options or they have their decision made but will not publicly disclose their decision until February 3.
Headlining the uncommitted players is No. 1 ranked, defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau.
The five-star senior from Eastside Catholic School in Washington state is weighing options from schools such as Ohio State, Washington, and Alabama along with many more offers.
247Sports’ Crystal Ball predicts that Tuimoloau will choose Ohio State to continue his playing career.
Going down the list, four-star running back LJ Johnson has yet to make a decision on his next chapter.
The Cy-Fair (TX) rusher who is ranked No. 40 in 247 all-position rankings is believed to stay in state and head to Texas A&M over, Texas, LSU, and other SEC powerhouses.
Four-star Outside Linebacker No. 67 Raesjon Davis out of Mater Dei in California has not made any commitments just yet.
But he is believed to also elect to stay in state and go to USC to play, trumping them over LSU, Arizona, and Auburn.
Down south, Trevin Wallace is waiting to make up his mind regarding where he’ll play for the next three or four years.
Trevin Wallace No. 74 on 247Sports and plays inside linebacker for Wayne County in Jesup, Georgia.
He is predicted to select Auburn over Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Florida State.
Ultimately, only time will tell on where these players will decide to play.
They don’t necessarily have to even sign in February since the deadline is August 1 right before institutions begin fall courses.
But eyes will be on these Top 100 guys that have not openly committed to a university just yet.
