Our 2024 Florida high school football rankings for Classes 4A-7A reflect playoff results through Nov. 29, emphasizing performance, strength of schedule, and key victories. 

Due to dominant playoff runs and consistent excellence, St. Thomas Aquinas holds the top spot, and Lakeland moves up to No. 2. 

Miami Columbus rises to No. 4 after decisive postseason wins, showcasing an ability to compete at the highest level.

American Heritage falls three places but remains in the Top 5, demonstrating skill and resilience. 

Tampa Bay Tech stays at No. 6 following an upset victory over Edgewater, solidifying their presence as a Class 6A powerhouse. 

Venice and Buchholz maintain their rankings with steady playoff showings, proving their competitiveness. 

Niceville, Jones, and West Orange all enter the Top 10 this week.

St. Thomas Aquinas is the top team due to their consistent dominance in Class 5A, backed by strong playoff performances. 

American Heritage is highly ranked for their impressive record in Class 4A. Venice continues to lead in Class 7A with solid performances throughout the postseason. Lakeland and Miami Columbus are recognized for their deep playoff runs and resilience in their respective divisions.

Tampa Bay Tech jumps into the Top 10 after a major playoff victory.

Buchholz holds strong with an excellent regular-season record. St. Augustine continues to excel in Class 4A with key wins. 

Edgewater and Apopka are placed lower due to recent playoff exits, but their overall strong seasons still earn them spots in the Top 10.

American Heritage stays in the Top 3 with a strong postseason tradition despite a competitive bracket. 

Miami Columbus and St. Augustine showed resilience and execution in pivotal wins, particularly St. Augustine’s upset over Columbia.

Class 6A’s Buchholz and Edgewater displayed dominance in early playoff matchups, reinforcing their Top 10 status.

St. Thomas Aquinas stays at No. 2 after dominating McArthur 56-0, Venice climbs to No. 3 after a thrilling 54-51 win over Cocoa, and Lakeland strengthens its position following a 48-13 victory against Booker T. Washington​ (Miami).

Teams like Miami Columbus, Apopka, and Edgewater continue their consistent forms, while Jones and Armwood rise after strong performances.
