The updated 2024 Florida high school football rankings for Classes 1A-3A and Rural prioritize overall performance, team consistency, and impact in the postseason. 

Chaminade-Madonna holds the top spot due to their dominance and well-rounded execution throughout the season. Cocoa follows at No. 2, maintaining their place as a powerhouse with a dynamic and disciplined approach. Raines secures third for their exceptional athleticism and ability to adapt under pressure, and Clearwater Central Catholic’s balance and resilience earn them the No. 4 spot.

Gadsden County rises two spots to No. 5, reflecting their strong defensive and offensive cohesion, and Miami Northwestern enters the Top 10 at No. 7.

No. 6 Madison County and No. 8 Hawthorne, as the Class Rural state champion and runner-up, respectively, demonstrated exceptional performances deserving of their rankings.

No. 9 Booker T. Washington (Miami) and No. 10 Booker (Sarasota) round out the list for their explosive plays and strategic execution that have consistently elevated their postseason impact.

Clearwater Central Catholic and Trinity Christian claim No. 4 and No. 5, respectively, for their impressive playoff showings. 

Cardinal Newman enters at No. 6 following their significant upset over First Baptist Academy. Gadsden County enters the Top 10 at No. 7, driven by playoff consistency. Booker T. Washington reclaims attention with their recent success, entering at No. 9.

Hawthorne drops to No. 8 after a strong yet competitive playoff game. First Baptist Academy slides down to No. 10 after a loss, but remains in the rankings for their earlier performances.

Hawthorne remains steady, proving its ability to grind out wins in crucial games.

Berkeley Prep and Pahokee fall in the rankings after playoff losses but stay in contention due to their overall season strength. Florida High drops significantly after an unexpected early exit, exposing key vulnerabilities. 

These rankings highlight consistency, strength of schedule, and playoff impact.

Our 2024 Top 10 Florida high school football rankings are based on first-round playoff performances, team strength, and postseason pedigree across Classes 1A-3A. 

Chaminade-Madonna maintains their No. 1 status with dominant play, while Cocoa impresses with an all-around team effort, earning them the No. 2 spot. 

Trinity Christian Academy and Florida High both showed their playoff readiness with strong wins, securing spots inside the Top 5. 

Clearwater Central Catholic’s high-powered offense keeps them in the Class 1A race. 

Hawthorne and Pahokee continue to represent the strength of Class 1A football, with both teams proving they are playoff-ready.

First Baptist Academy’s controlled performance in Class 2A earns them a spot at No. 8, while Berkeley Prep’s resilience in Class 3A keeps them in the hunt. 

With a strong first-round victory, Raines earned their well-deserved place at No. 10, rounding out the top teams based on their recent performances.

Bishop Moore jumps up to No. 6 after a 41-6 win over Orlando Christian Prep, and Eau Gallie drops one spot to No. 7.

Pensacola Catholic beat Mobile Chrsitian 48-20 and rises to No. 18. 

Booker T. Washington (Miami) falls one spot to No. 19 after a 24-21 loss to Vero Beach. 

The First Academy moves up to No. 22 after a close loss to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Georgia), while Carrollwood Day drops to No. 23. 

The rest of the rankings remain largely unchanged, with teams continuing to battle as the season progresses.
