2023 Florida High School Football Playoffs: Regional Semifinal Predictions

With the regional quarterfinals in the books, here are our predictions for the 2023 Florida regional semifinal round.

Class 4M

The 2023 Florida 4M regional semifinal slate is headlined by three big matchups: Lake Mary vs. Mandarin, Seminole vs. Apopka, and Miami Palmetto vs. Western. Of the three, Lake Mary vs. Mandarin and Seminole vs. Apopka have already taken place once this season, with the Rams and Seminoles winning the respective matchups.

The 2023 Florida 2S regional semifinal slate is headlined by two big Region 1 games: Walton and Pensacola Catholic, and Wakulla and Florida State. Both games could be close, with Walton vs. Pensacola Catholic a rematch from the regular season, when the Braves won 23-21.

Archbishop Carroll vs. Palmer Trinity is also a prominent rematch, and it will be the third meeting between the two in 2023, with the season series tied at 1-1.
