Top 25 Florida High School Boys Basketball Teams: Classes 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A, 7A and Independent

Montverde Academy finishes the 2023-24 season sitting atop our Florida high school boys basketball Top 25 rankings after securing an undefeated record at 31-0. 

Every 2023-24 FHSAA boys basketball state champion also finished the season ranked, with each team and rank as follows: Class 7A’s Miami Columbus at No. 2, Class 6A’s Pembroke Pines Charter at No. 11, Class 5A’s Norland at No. 14, Class 4A’s Gibbs at No. 16, Class 3A’s Riviera Prep at No. 6, Class 2A’s Sagemont at No. 7, and Class 1A’s Williston at No. 10.

The second-to-last update of the 2023-24 season for our Florida high school boys basketball Top 25 rankings sees new ranked teams entering the state semifinals in each classification. The highest-ranked of that group is Class 6A’s Ponte Vedra at No. 18. 

The biggest movers this week are Pembroke Pines Charter, Providence, and North Broward Prep, who each rise nine spots.

The latest update of our 2023-24 Florida high school boys basketball rankings sees the debut of two new teams from the Jacksonville area in Andrew Jackson and Providence at No. 20 and No. 24, respectively. 

Programs such as Dwyer, IMG Academy, and Victory Christian were among the biggest risers of the week.

Two new teams enter the Top 25 of our consensus Florida high school boys basketball 2023-24 rankings this week in Class 6A’s Pembroke Pines Charter and South Plantation. Sitting in the No. 23 and 24 spots, respectively, the Jaguars sit at 18-4 for the year at the time of writing, while South Plantation is 22-3.

Our 2023-24 Florida high school boys basketball rankings gets its first update of the new year with three teams – Dwyer, North Broward Prep, and Coral Springs – making their Top-25 debuts. The Panthers are the highest-ranked of the three at No. 22. The biggest movers of the week were Class 7A’s Winter Haven and Oak Ridge, each of which made the jump into the Top 10. The eighth-ranked Blue Devils rose seven spots, the most of any team this week.

Headlining our first Florida high school boys basketball Top-25 rankings of the 2023-24 season is Montverde Academy at No. 1. The Eagles have already recorded impressive in-state victories over Miami Columbus and IMG Academy, as well as Link Academy and Sunrise Christian at the national level. Class 7A, led by Miami Columbus at No. 2, sees the most teams ranked in our initial Top-25.
