The No. 1 spot among best offensive linemen for the 2022 high school football season goes to Proctor, a five-star prospect and Top 10 national player in the 2023 class from Southeast Polk High School in Iowa. The 6-foot-7, 330-pounder is the No. 1 player in Iowa and recently released a final two that includes the home-state Hawkeyes and Alabama.
2. Francis Mauigoa (IMG Academy, FL)
While the top spot went to Proctor, you could make a strong case for Mauigoa at No. 1 as well. A five-star prospect in the 2023 class, Mauigoa is the top offensive lineman in Florida; he returns as the biggest name along an elite IMG Academy offensive front.
3. Samson Okunlola (Thayer Academy, MA)
Also a five-star offensive tackle in the 2023 class, Okunlola is arguably the top player in Massachusetts, where he attends Thayer Academy. He is a versatile offensive lineman at 6-foot-5, and is certainly one of high school football’s best entering the fall.
4. Alex Birchmeier (Broad Run, VA)
You make the argument that Birchmeier is not only the top player in Virginia, but that he is the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the 2023 class. A five-star prospect from Broad Run High School, Birchmeier has been committed to Penn State since July of 2021.
5. Luke Montgomery (Findlay, OH)
The top player in Ohio from Findlay High School, Montgomery returns for his senior season as one of the nation’s best offensive lineman in high school football for 2022. He’s a four-star prospect in the 2023 class, and has been committed to Ohio State since February of 2022.
6. Charles Jagusah (Alleman, IL)
Jagusah, the top player in Illinois, returns for his senior season at Alleman High School in 2022. A four-star prospect in the 2023 class, Jagusah has interest from schools such as Michigan, Notre Dame, and more.
7. J’ven Williams (Wyomissing, PA)
Coming in at No. 7 on this list of best offensive linemen for the 2022 high school football season is Williams, a player who is also the second Penn State commit in the Top 10. A four-star prospect in the 2023 class, Williams is the top player in Pennsylvania, where he attends Wyomissing High School.
8. Isendre Ahfua (O’Dea, WA)
You could make the argument that this five-star prospect is the No. 1 offensive lineman in the entire 2024 class. The 6-foot-5, 330 pounder is definitely the No. 1 player in the 2024 class within Washington, where he attends O’Dea High School.
9. Bo Hughley (Langston Hughes, GA)
While a number of players from Georgia could easily be on this list, Hughley stands above the rest. A four-star prospect in the 2023 class, he attends Langston Hughes High School and is currently committed to Georgia.
10. Brandon Baker (Mater Dei, CA)
With numerous options to choose from, the final spot on this list of best offensive linemen for the 2022 high school football season goes to Baker. A four-star prospect in the 2024 class, Baker is a versatile offensive lineman for one of the nation’s top teams, Mater Dei High School in California.
