High school sports are an endless source of compelling stories, and the on-the-field happenings aren’t even half of the story. Tales of unbelievable victories, personal triumphs, undying perseverance, and heart-wrenching losses are not confined to the field of play, but often have roots in the home, school, and community.

Working as a journalism intern involves assisting our editor in producing these stories for our magazines, website, newsletter, and social media. Journalism interns will typically receive assignments on a monthly or weekly basis and are expected to deliver completed stories by given deadlines. Journalism interns may be assigned various research tasks to further assist our editor.

Responsibilities:
– Complete assigned stories, including scheduling and completing interviews, writing, and editing.

We seek to deliver engaging, relevant content to our followers that inspires their inner athletes. Social Media Interns will receive assignments on a weekly basis from our Marketing Director. They will be tasked with posting brand-friendly content and engaging with our followers on various social media platforms. They will also assist with our brand ambassadors, event coordinating, analytics and statistical reporting, platform management and marketing tools, branding, develop campaigns, and content generation.

Responsibilities:
