One of the top travel baseball tournaments of the year came to an end last week when a champion was crowned at the Perfect Game 2021 WWBA World Championship. A tournament that included over 100+ teams from October 7-11 at Roger Dean Complex in Jupiter, FL, the 2021 Perfect Game WWBA World Championship featured many of the top teams and players from across the country.

PG 2021 WWBA World Champions: Ostringers Baseball Academy 2022
Ostringers BA 2022 were crowned world champions as they went a perfect 8-0 in the tournament. Rated as the No. 4 seed, Ostringers BA topped Dirtbags Scout Team 2-1 in the championship game with the difference coming via a walk-off single from Arjun Nimmala to claim Ostringers BA their first ever WWBA World Championship.

Notables Upsets
There were a few notable upsets in the bracket which included four notables in the first round: No. 31 Canes Florida 18U Prime over No. 2 Burn 2022 5-0, No. 27 East Coast Sox – Franchise over No. 6 Banditos Scout Team 6-2, No. 24 FTB/Phillies Scout Team over No. 9 CBU 2022 Scout Team 3-1, and No. 23 Dirtbags Scout Team over No. 10 FTB Tucci 7-0.

Alpha Prime 2025 took home the freshman world championship after they defeated Canes Midwest 7-1 in the championship game. The No. 7 seed, Alpha Prime 2025 was led by MVP Aiden Aguayo, and outscored opponents a combined 77-21 in the tournament.
