FHSAA Class 5A Playoff Predictions: Elite 8
We make our predictions for which teams could end up in the FHSAA Class 5A Elite 8 this upcoming season.
In the Region 4 bracket, a possible matchup between American Heritage and St. Brendan could feature two standout running backs.
Junior Mark Fletcher returns for American Heritage after recording over 1,000 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns in 2020.
St. Brendan returns its own talented rusher from a year ago in sophomore Isaac Brown. As a freshman, Brown recorded over 600 yards on the ground along with 10 touchdowns.
Both the Patriots and Sabres were champions of their respective classes last season. If they meet in the Elite 8 this season, it should make for an intriguing matchup.
